“Big Picture Educational is an invaluable resource for anyone that needs to understand the best possible path forward in video-first learning, and high-impact educational distribution for film projects for K-12 through University, library systems and more. While doing all of this, the Big Picture Educational team never loses focus on the importance of administrators and in-classroom educators – their partners – in creating meaningful dialogue that drives the impact and outcomes that matter most. Because of this, we are always excited about the next opportunity to partner with Big Picture Educational!”

“I am so impressed with the energy and creativity of the people at Big Picture Educational. Their input helped sharpen the scope and outcome of our screening event. At each step of the way, Big Picture has been thoughtful, experienced, professional and compassionate. What a fantastic organization whose work is expanding the ideas of what can be done in education.

Michelle Ciulla Lipkin

“Working with Big Picture has been an amazing opportunity. The diverse communities they reach utilizing documentary film, the arts, and stories that matter, always leave me feeling that the work they are doing is truly making a distance. Big Picture is educating people about the experience of the marginalized, and inspiring countless others to do the same, empowering communities to unapologetically find their voice and work towards meaningful change.”

Brandon Brown

Restorative Justice Institute of Maine

“Big Picture is one of America’s secret weapons in the world of film and education. They do some of the best work with film and media literacy that I have ever seen. Anyone interested in reaching — and having a meaningful effect on — young audiences should know them!”

“We at PBS learning media have collaborated with Big Picture ed on several projects, and they are fantastic to work with — creative, thorough, and smart. They are good listeners who work to understand a project’s goals and draw on their deep knowledge of students and classrooms to design top-quality classroom content and professional learning experiences for educators. I’d recommend them to anyone (and already have)!”

“Big Picture panels are so much more than film discussion. They promote understanding about the human condition, build bridges between people who would never normally have a conversation, and lay the foundation for social change.”

We are classroom teachers. We are community organizers. We are nonprofit executives. We are NGO board members. We are networkers. We are event planners.

Big Picture Ed is truly a “one stop shop” for both educators and community organizers as well as filmmakers and content producers who want to use film to start meaningful conversations in classrooms and museums, at conferences and universities, and wherever film can be seen, talked about, and shared.
